[Q] Some people like to do only what they already do well. Other people prefer to try new things and take risks. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

 

[A] I prefer taking on new things, even if it means taking risks. It's because I believe that new discoveries can arise from new challenges. Rather than being stagnant in reality, a life of constant challenge is my motto.

New challenges may bring forth new problems, but ultimately they create new paths. We can easily see this by observing the individuals who have left their names in history among many others. The Wright Brothers, who created the flying airplane, were not initially recognized by anyone, but they didn't give up on aircraft development. Thanks to their sacrifices, we can now travel comfortably anywhere in the world.

Furthermore, new challenges can also become the driving force behind a positive life. Although the constant emergence of problems can be vexing, with each resolution, we gain new insights and can move towards another path.

I believe that the pursuit of new challenges is not only inherent to human nature but also the driving force behind human progress. Therefore, I consider a life that embraces these values and takes on challenges to be more valuable.
