Sentence Construction:

Build Lexicon:


* typically := (adv.) in a typical manner; commonly, usually.


   Example: She typically arrives at the office before 9 a.m.


* dignity := (n.) the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect.


   Example: He carried himself with dignity, even in difficult times.



Discover Idioms & Expressions:


* tongue-tied :=  being unable to speak effectively or articulate your thoughts, often because of nervousness or being in an unfamiliar situation, such as speaking a foreign language.


   Example: I was so tongue-tied when I tried to give my speech in Spanish; it's much harder than practicing in my native language!


* mother tongue := this idiom refers to a person’s native language, the language first learned as a child and usually thought of as the most proficient language for an individual.


   Example:  Although she speaks three languages fluently, her poetry is most touching when written in her mother tongue.
