I have to go to an auto repair shop. My rear lamp (light) isn’t working.

 

 

AI is significant impacting the auto industry now.

 

Consulting firm X reports that 94% of automotive executives discuss AI at their board meetings.

And 30% of auto companies have dedicated AI teams.

 

X predicts that AI could bring a $300 billion windfall for the industry over the next decade.

 

In manufacturing, AI streamlines production by adapting quickly to design changes and demand, reducing waste, and ensuring cost-effective processes.

 

It also allows for greater customization.

 

AI enhances quality control by inspecting processes more precisely than humans, leading to fewer recalls and increased customer trust.

 

In sales, AI chatbots are revolutionizing dealerships by acting as virtual salespeople. They provide recommendations, answer complex questions about pricing, and make car buying easier than before.

 

 

I was not impressed (not satisfied), because AI chatbots were not sensitive (informative)—they couldn’t provide me with car specifications such as length or how it would perform in different driving situations.

 

Autonomous parking system

 

It shocked me (was shocking).

 

Regardless, I still trust my own parking skills more than its skills.

 

I hope that in the future, cars will have a feature that enables (allows) them to reduce their dimensions (size) to fit small(er) parking spaces.
