This article is about “green steel.” Green steel is steel made from green energy. Normally steel is made by heat, but traditional steel is made from fossil fuels. But green steel is made from heat that is generated by other processes.

 

How can we make heat from green power? We can use wind power or solar power to make electricity. If we use this kind of green energy to make automobiles or buildings, we can say that those things are made from renewable sources.

 

I heard that internationally, governments require that if you want to export your product(s) to their country, you should use renewable sources, so many steel companies exporting to other countries use renewable sources to make steel.

 

When companies use steel made from green power, they can advertise to people that they are removing pollutants such as carbon dioxide from the environment.

 

First of all, I want to assume that I have a lot of money. In this case, I really want to use clean tech, because I heard that normally, green tech products are more expensive than traditional products, and if I have an unlimited budget, I totally want to buy green tech, because if I use those products, I can help the Earth. And then, I think that if I buy green tech products, people who live nearby my home, can see my home and then sometime they might want to buy green tech products too. In other words, I want to set a good example for people.  

 

I think that one of the big problems is, sometimes it can be raining, and the weather is not good, so in this case, we can’t use solar power properly. This situation creates an unstable power supply. So, if you want to use renewable sources, you have to buy big batteries as back-ups.

 

Wind farms make a lot of noise. Some birds and animals can’t live nearby those plants. That noise also can affect human beings. I’ve also heard that the price of making wind farms is so expensive.
